You may have noticed over the past several days that my website itself was down more than up. I couldn’t exactly pinpoint why, but I think I found a run-around solution that should permanently work!
Last week, DigitalOcean (my hosting provider) released new pricing options, and that included the chance for me to upgrade my droplet at no extra cost! The previous plan was $5/month for 512 of MB RAM and 20 GB of disk space. The new plan is now 1 GB of RAM and 25 GB of disk space. While I don’t think I really need the increased disk space, the RAM upgrade is very much welcome on my watch by all accords.
Hopefully now the site itself is a bit faster in addition to not crashing all the time. If it does so again, I will be sure to investigate further.
